Langan is seeking a Project Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join its team in New Haven, CT, New York City, NY, or Boston, MA. The role focuses on planning, design and permitting of civil and land development projects, mentoring staff, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or active
• 6+ years of site/civil land development experience
• Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations
• Strong client development, communication and management abilities
• Experience designing site layout, grading, drainage, and infrastructure from concept through construction documents
• Ability to manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules and timelines
• Travel may be required depending on business needs

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and permitting of civil land development and infrastructure projects.
• Design site layout, grading, drainage, and infrastructure from concept through completion.
• Develop new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets and schedules; monitor timelines and budgets.
• Prepare reports and technical specifications; write feasibility and stormwater reports.
• Provide expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and SWPPP preparation.
• Collaborate with office leadership to grow staff and utilization.
• Perform other duties as requested.
