Job summary

Langan is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team in New Haven, CT. The role focuses on assisting planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering and land development projects for a variety of sectors.

You will gain experience with site/civil design for mixed-use developments, educational facilities, and infrastructure projects while working in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of work experience preferred.
• EIT or FE exam anticipated or current registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, plans and design documents using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related software.
• Assess soil, topography and hydrological data to inform site planning and design.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks on schedule.
