Job summary

Langan International, LLC is seeking a Project Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join our collaborative team in New Haven, CT, New York City, NY, or Boston, MA. This role coordinates planning, design and permitting of civil, land development and infrastructure projects and mentors staff.

You will work across diverse markets including healthcare, higher education, distribution, K-12, commercial, and mixed-use, leading projects from concept through construction documentation while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Valid Professional Engineer license is required.
• 6+ years of site/civil land development experience.
• Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations.
• Strong client development and client management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and permitting of civil engineering and land development projects; manage client communication.
• Design site layout, grading, drainage and infrastructure from concept to completion.
• Develop new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets and schedules; monitor timelines.
• Prepare and review draft reports and technical specifications.
• Provide hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and SWPPP preparation expertise.
• Collaborate with leadership to grow staff utilization and project opportunities.
• Perform other duties as requested.
