Job summary

SEG is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to lead land development and public works projects with a remote or hybrid schedule from Phoenix, Dallas, Denver, or the Charlotte/Raleigh area. You’ll own design delivery from concept through construction, and directly engage with clients and municipal partners.

You will mentor upcoming engineers, drive technical excellence, and tackle varied projects beyond routine drainage reports, shaping SEG’s approach to land development across the Southwest

Qualifications

• Active PE license in any U.S. state; reciprocity/comity licensing offered if needed in a new state.
• Extensive civil engineering design experience across land development, public works, or municipal projects.
• Ability to own a project and drive delivery from concept to completion.
• Proficiency with standard civil design tools such as Civil 3D or equivalent.

• Lead design and technical delivery on land development, public works, and municipal projects from concept to construction.
• Work directly with clients and municipal partners instead of routing everything through three layers of management.
• Mentor engineers coming up behind you and help shape how SEG designs, not just what it designs.
• Take on projects with real variety — no getting boxed into the same drainage report for the next five years.

Requirements

What You Bring
