Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with land development focus.
• ABET‑accredited Civil Engineering degree required; Master’s or MBA a plus.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
• Deep fluency in civil design principles, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.
• Client‑first instincts with ability to translate needs into solutions and maintain relationships.
• Comfort contributing to business development: proposals, presentations, and winning work.

Responsibilities

• Own planning, design, and execution of land development projects — grading, drainage, roadway, and utility design.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and contracts to keep delivery on time and on target.
• Be the client’s go‑to person — build trust and provide strategic guidance.
• Mentor and grow a team of engineers, promoting collaboration and technical excellence.
• Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Use Civil 3D, GIS, and other modern tools to drive design quality and documentation.
• Contribute to proposals, client presentations, and business development with leadership.
