Job summary

Ackerman Estvold Engineering and Consulting in Fargo, ND seeks a full-time Lead Civil Engineer specializing in municipal and land development. You will lead planning, design, and management of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water, and sewer utilities, and oversee site development.

The role requires a PE license in ND/MN (or ability to obtain within six months), 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong client-relations skills. AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE license in ND and MN or ability to obtain within six months.
• Minimum five years of land development or municipal engineering experience.
• Proven project management skills and understanding of local municipal processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-relations skills.
• Experience or interest in business development and client relationship management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Fargo-Moorhead area municipalities and regulatory agencies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and management of municipal infrastructure projects.
