Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking an exceptional Civil Engineer to lead civil and site development design for next‑generation hyperscale data center campuses and co‑located power facilities. You will architect high‑performance civil infrastructure capable of supporting massive AI compute loads and rapid deployment timelines.

This high‑impact role requires deep expertise in land development, hydrology & hydraulics, environmental systems, and collaboration with structural, MEP, geotechnical, and construction

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience mentoring teams and driving process improvements on complex facilities.
• Strong ownership mindset with cross‑functional collaboration across structural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, and construction teams.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience on data centers, power plants, or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end civil and land development engineering for hyperscale data center campuses and related sites.
• Lead hydrology and hydraulics analyses, floodplain modeling, and stormwater design for large-scale projects.
• Design land development plans, earthwork, erosion control, and foundation preparation for heavy industrial loads.
• Coordinate across multiple disciplines to integrate civil with foundations, power, and turbine infrastructure.
• Provide site selection input, feasibility studies, and regulatory permitting for data center projects.
• Respond to RFIs, submittals, and field inquiries with rigorous documentation.
