Job summary

Kokosing Construction seeks a Lead Engineer for Heavy Highway – Roadway/Bridge projects in the Morgantown area or Western PA. This on-site role requires coordinating onsite engineering teams and aligning with project schedules.

Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering or construction management degree with 5+ years in construction engineering; bridge experience is a plus; PE registration is preferred but not required. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in civil engineering or construction management is required or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of construction engineering experience.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus; PE registration preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering activities for heavy highway/bridge projects.
• Manage project engineering personnel, assignments and performance.
• Support construction planning and design, interpretation of design and resolution of conflicts.
• Develop and administer project engineering procedures and submittals, RFIs and payments.
• Interface with client meetings and on-site departments to resolve problems and ensure quality.
