Job summary

BCP Engineers & Consultants seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee civil, demolition, decommissioning, or site grading projects at a nuclear decommissioning site in California. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• CAPM or equivalent certification is required or preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience on civil, demolition, decommissioning, or site grading projects.
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing civil, demolition, decommissioning, or site grading projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced computer and software skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and implementation, defining scope, goals, and deliverables using the ProjectSolutions project management compliance matrix
• Manage project staff and ensure all project documentation is prepared and approved; deliver scope within schedule and budget
• Provide leadership, direction, and resources to the Project Supervisor and project staff, including contractors and consultants
• Identify and manage scope changes; document changes to the Statement of Work and communicate them to the customer and management
• Update the baseline budget and schedule; track project cost and direct accounting on project invoice preparation
• Serve as primary interface between EnergySolutions and the client: hold project status meetings and provide monthly schedule, project, and financial input to management
• Liaise with project stakeholders on a routine basis
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in verbatim compliance with DOT, NRC, and OSHA standards, state requirements, and client procedures, permits, and licenses
• Ensure personnel obtain and maintain required training, qualifications, and proficiencies through the Talent Database
• Serve as single point of contact for complex projects, working under general direction; fill the Project Director role as needed
