The Cambian Group is seeking a Residential Team Leader for Children’s Services to oversee a residential home, guide care staff, and uphold high safety and quality standards for vulnerable children.

You will lead supervision, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster strong partnerships with families and external agencies while maintaining a nurturing, stable environment for each child.

Competenze

• A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in children’s residential services.
• Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfort using electronic care recording systems (Clearcare is an advantage).

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Residential Support Workers.
• Ensure the home operates in compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Promote a child-centred approach focusing on welfare, development, and safety.
• Support children in achieving personal goals and life skills.
• Oversee planning and delivery of individual care plans.
• Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing at all times.
• Conduct regular supervisions, appraisals, and training sessions.
• Handle safeguarding concerns and ensure incidents are recorded and reported.
• Build positive relationships with external agencies, families, and the local community.
