Job summary

Sheboygan County Health & Human Services seeks a Supervisor – Child Support to lead the Child Support unit within the department. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage casework, data entry, and reporting across the IV-D program.

The role requires coordinating with courts, attorneys, and community partners to deliver trauma-informed, reliable services and continuous improvement in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Social Services, or a closely related field preferred.
  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in Child Support Enforcement or related area.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Title IV-D requirements and family court practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision to assigned staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Oversee case management, enforcement activities, documentation, reporting and performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate with courts, attorneys, and partner agencies to ensure integrated service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and county laws and internal policies; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain unit policies, workflows, and quality assurance practices.
  • Monitor program performance and prepare required reports for state/federal agencies.
