Qualifications

  • High School graduate or GED/HSED required.
  • Associate degree in Human Services preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with staff, vendors and the community; and solid customer service skills required.
  • Ability to work within deadlines on a consistent basis; and maintain accurate, current case record documentation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the agency, partner agencies, others social service agencies, courts, schools, public officials, professionals and the community.
  • Ability to provide supervision to children aged newborn to 17 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license for State of Wisconsin required.
  • Two plus years' experience in providing support services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide case aide assistance and support to Child Welfare Case Managers and leaders, clients and caregivers.
  • Support operations of the Child Welfare Program.
  • Maintain accurate, current case record documentation.
