Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care is seeking a full-time teacher for the Center: South Windsor, CT. You will supervise children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in one classroom, implementing developmentally appropriate curricula and creating engaging activities according to each child’s interests.

You will partner with families to plan the best care and education, maintain a warm, safe environment, and communicate effectively with parents/guardians to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or CDA or Head Teacher certification or 12 credits in Early Childhood Education; Bachelor's degree also acceptable.
• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours and meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children in one assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, clean, and safe environment that supports growth and exploration.
• Partner with families to plan for the best care and education.
