Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Manchester, CT is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood team. You will work side-by-side with teachers and families to create a warm, home-like environment for children aged 6 weeks through 12 years, following NAEYC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or CDA/Head Teacher) or 12 college credits in ECE, or Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years in one classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans to provide the best care and education.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
