Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall Boston is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead our maintenance team, oversee all hotel maintenance, operations, and capital projects, and ensure the property, systems, and grounds are safe, reliable, and well maintained for guests.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage a skilled staff, coordinate preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement while delivering exceptional service and a comfortable guest experience.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of Engineering Management experience, preferably within a luxury hotel brand.
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
• Must possess any required government licenses, certifications, or permits.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or Technical School education preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills, reading, writing, and speaking fluently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep for the hotel, manage maintenance projects, and ensure preventative maintenance is completed timely and accurately.
• Direct all maintenance staff and assign responsibilities as needed.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure smooth hotel operations.
