Job summary

LBA Hospitality's Homewood Suites Winston Salem is hiring a Chief Engineer to lead hotel maintenance operations and keep systems safe and functional. The role oversees repairs, preventative maintenance, and guest-focused service delivery to support the opening this winter.

The position requires 5–10 years in maintenance, strong leadership and troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. On-site work with opportunities for growth and stability.

Qualifications

5–10 years in maintenance engineer or technician role.
Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
HVAC and Pool certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, supervise, and develop maintenance staff.
Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration and other building systems.
Manage preventative maintenance program and logs.
Conduct property inspections for safety and facility improvements.
Respond to work orders and delegate repairs.
Maintain interiors, exteriors, equipment, and grounds.
Ensure maintenance tools and materials are available and maintained.
Assist with interviewing and performance management of staff.
Maintain maintenance records within budget and brand standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
