Job summary

Woodstream in Lititz, PA, seeks a Manager, Chemical R&D and Lab Operations to lead chemical design and development, oversee the corporate lab, and supervise product testing efforts.

The role directs design, prototyping, testing protocols, and supplier collaboration to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while partnering with engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing to drive new product success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related STEM field; Master’s preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in chemical engineering design and new product development, including lab management and product testing.
• Advanced proficiency in chemical formulation, prototyping, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, formulation, and development of chemical products for complex projects.
• Oversee daily laboratory operations, including workflow, equipment, and safety compliance.
• Direct and execute product testing activities, including evaluations and competitive analysis.
• Maintain records of formulations, testing data, and results; prepare reports for leadership.
