Job summary

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in aerospace chemicals, strong leadership, and a background in chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science. The role offers an established 9/80 schedule, comprehensive benefits, and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in chemicals and processes in the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of material properties, test methods and failure modes; adhesive bonding; chemical processes, finishes, corrosion prevention.
• Ability to prioritize work, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated team and project leadership.
• Excellent communicator, able to build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical decisions on material and processing applications for design, procurement and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality to meet deliveries and reduce rework/cost.
• Provide supplier support for planning reviews and vendor issues.
• Develop and implement environmental compliance strategies and materials for aerospace.
• Develop testing methods and CPL materials/chemicals to meet certification and quality requirements.
• Maintain M&P specs and qualification testing.
• Develop performance metrics to drive execution and safety.
