Job summary

You will oversee Materials and Processes Engineers and Technicians, manage development for BDS programs, and ensure qualification of materials and processes across multiple projects. The role requires a BS in engineering or related field and leadership experience, with emphasis on composites, materials, and lab operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Leadership experience: at least one year in a leadership role or completion of Boeing internal Exploring Leadership course.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and technicians (approximately 10) and develop them.
• Oversee materials and processes solutions for BDS programs and external customers via IRAD/CRAD.
• Evaluate and qualify materials, suppliers, equipment, and processes to meet conformance and producibility requirements.
• Guide test development, data analysis of failures, and documentation of findings.
• Drive continuous improvement in design, fabrication, testing of new concepts and technology.
