Job summary

Synray Corp. is seeking a dedicated Chemical Operator to safely and efficiently run chemical processes in our Kenilworth, NJ facility. You will handle materials responsibly, support lean manufacturing efforts, and ensure CGMP compliance across all operations.

The role requires comfort with 12-hour night shifts, packaging and fabrication tasks, and collaboration with team members to improve processes. In-person work at our facility, with a starting schedule and day-into-night shift transition.

Qualifications

• Experience in chemical processing or manufacturing preferred.
• Must live within 40 minutes of Kenilworth, NJ.
• Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety practices.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles advantageous.
• Experience in packaging and fabrication processes is a plus.
• Understanding of CGMP regulations desirable.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and warehouse machinery safely.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain attention to detail.
• Comfortable with night shifts and long 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Fabricate and package products according to established guidelines and specifications.
• Maintain CGMP compliance throughout all processes.
• Inspect machinery and equipment and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team members to implement lean process improvements.
• Assist in laboratory testing and quality control measures.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely as required.
• Start with training on day shift (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) before moving to permanent 6:00 PM–6:00 AM schedule.
