Job summary

Resolute Road Hospitality’s Spokane location is seeking a Chef de Cuisine for Spencer’s for Steaks & Chops. You will lead daily kitchen operations, ensure high standards of food quality, and support the Executive Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

You will oversee staff, train cooks, manage inventory, and help develop seasonal menus while maintaining cost controls and food safety standards in a fast-paced, upscale setting.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of culinary leadership experience in upscale or high-volume settings.
• supervises or leads teams in a restaurant or hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of food prep, cooking techniques, sanitation and safety.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to train and develop culinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations at Spencer’s for Steaks & Chops.
• Lead kitchen team during service to ensure smooth execution.
• Participate in food preparation as needed to maintain standards.
• Ensure all items follow recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Maintain consistent quality, flavor, and presentation of dishes.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.
• Communicate production needs to culinary team daily.
• Ensure proper temperature control and food safety compliance.
• Manage receiving, storage, labeling and rotation of ingredients.
• Provide hands‑on leadership and direction during shifts.
