You will supervise kitchen staff, oversee menu development, safety, inventory, and profitability while delivering high-quality food and service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

This role requires a strong track record in leadership, menu strategy, and cost management, with HACCP knowledge and a passion for culinary excellence.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of leadership experience in a culinary role.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Head Chef or Main Chef.
• Experience managing large teams.
• Proven track record of guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Experience with various culinary styles and menu concepts.
• Extensive experience in food costing, inventory management, and budgeting.
• Food Handlers Card required; state-specific regulations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all culinary operations, including food production, presentation, safety, sanitation, and team member performance.
• Create and implement innovative menus in partnership with leadership based on current trends and regional preferences.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and sanitation standards and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in production and guest satisfaction.
• Manage budget forecasting, reporting, systems, and meetings.
• Develop and manage team performance, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Recruit, interview, and train culinary staff to meet operational needs.
• Maintain cost control, inventory, and profitability while driving high standards.
