Job summary

You will perform FEA, assess strength, stiffness, durability and NVH, develop test profiles, and present results at design reviews while mentoring junior engineers in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years in CAE roles.
• Experience in linear and nonlinear analysis.
• Proficiency with NASTRAN, Abaqus, OptiStruct.
• Familiarity with HyperWorks/ANSA.
• Fatigue theory and durability methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis of chassis, suspension, and driveline.
• Perform FEA to evaluate strength, stiffness, durability, NVH.
• Develop fatigue analysis and test profiles for components.
• Collaborate with design engineers for solutions.
• Balance system-level requirements and specs.
• Lead CAE-focused project management with suppliers.
• Present results and recommendations at design reviews.
• Participate in Product Development Teams and PITs.
• Document and archive models for traceability.
