• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions of the nursing staff in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures and coordinate with Nursing Service leadership.
• Review and update nursing service procedures, discharge plans, and daily census reports as required.
• Chart and document resident information accurately, including orders, diagnoses, and progress notes.
• Administer medications as prescribed and verify resident identity before treatment.
