Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain current CPR certification if LPN/LVN.
• Maintain current professional license if LPN/LVN.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist residents with medications and treatments as allowed by state regulations.
• Measure vital signs and weight; monitor health status and report changes.
• Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax, and physician forms.
• Document information in Nursing Notes and resident charts per policy.
• Supervise Personal Care Specialists to ensure daily completion of duties.
• Assist in development and revision of service plans and relay resident needs to Wellness Director.
