Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to provide pharmacy services including preparing and distributing medications, inventory control, and customer service under supervision in the Inpatient Pharmacy.

The role requires a high school diploma, registration as Pharmacy Technician/Intern, certification (PTCB or exCPT) within 6 months, and 0–1 year experience preferred. Full-time with rotating shifts, on-site at Boston Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma (or State accepted equivalency).
• Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician/Intern with the Board. Must be Certified by examination by a Board approved credentialing program, PTCB or exCPT, within 6 months.
• None required; 6 months – 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals with accuracy.
• Maintain pharmacy records and monitor automated systems.
• Provide customer service to patients and hospital staff.
