LS Solutions in Michigan is seeking a Retail Supervisor to lead daily department operations in a busy retail store. You will ensure staff training, proper staffing, adherence to company standards, and achievement of key performance goals.

Responsibilities include inventory control, receiving, merchandising, and maintaining product knowledge with promotional programs. You will oversee scheduling, payroll, and staff development while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years retail experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and knowledge of retail operations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory ordering, merchandising, and proper storage to minimize loss and ensure product freshness.
• Oversee receiving processes, verifying order quality, quantity, and condition.
• Lead a team in stocking, production, and quality control, including handling spoiled/damaged products.
• Maintain product knowledge, promotional features, and store sales programs.
• Support execution of weekly plans, schedules, and labor control, including payroll management.
• Assist in staffing, training, performance management, and career development of associates.
• Participate in meetings and ensure a clean, organized, and safe department environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, safety guidelines, and store policies.
• Perform cycle counts, monitor date checks, and uphold cleanliness standards.
• Support additional tasks as needed to enhance customer experience and store operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership ability and understanding of retail operations and management systems.
• Knowledge of suggestive selling and product features preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; bilingual ability (English/Spanish) desirable.

Physical & Environment Requirements
