Job summary

Royal is seeking a Project Engineer to lead Construction Engineering & Inspection services for transportation and public infrastructure projects in Alabama. You will supervise construction administration, QA, scheduling, and project delivery while coordinating with contractors and stakeholders on roadway and bridge work.

The role requires a P.E. license in Alabama or licensure by comity, a civil/structural engineering degree, and experience with ALDOT platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• P.E. license in Alabama or ability to licensure by comity preferred.
• Experience managing ALDOT, municipal, private, or public transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead CE&I activities for roadway, bridge, drainage, and utility projects.
• Act as owner's representative during construction and lead inspection teams.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project execution.
