Job summary

Team Royal seeks a Project Engineer to lead Construction Engineering & Inspection (CE&I) for transportation, roadway, bridge, drainage, and public infrastructure projects in Florida. You will oversee construction administration, contractor coordination, QA, schedule management, and project delivery for complex public works.

Qualifications

• Florida P.E. licensure or licensure by endorsement required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Experience managing FDOT or municipal transportation projects.
• Demonstrated contract administration, change orders, estimates and documentation.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead CE&I activities for roadway, bridge and drainage construction projects.
• Serve as owner's representative during construction and oversee staff.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, agencies and stakeholders.
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders and pay applications.
• Monitor schedules, budgets and contract compliance.
• Perform field inspections of roadway, bridges, and utilities.
• Verify quantities, document dailyreports, and manage records.
• Oversee progress payments and quality assurance/control efforts.
• Ensure FDOT standards, safety regs and project requirements compliance.
• Support project closeout and post-construction documentation.
