Job summary

Beaver Creek Ski Resort is seeking a Lead Driver for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 to safely transport guests and team members within the mountain resort area. You will lead a transportation team, ensure safe driving, and coordinate with dispatch to meet daily goals.

The role requires a valid US Driver’s License, CDL with air brake and passenger endorsement, and 2 years CDL driving experience. Competitive starting wage and housing are available.

Qualifications

  • CDL required for driving position; clean driving record expected.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older; pre-employment drug test.
  • CDL Class A or B with air brake and passenger endorsement required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team to achieve daily transportation goals.
  • Ensure safe driving and regulatory compliance at all times.
  • Coordinate day-to-day work with dispatch and operations.
  • Maintain buses and report maintenance issues as needed.
  • Transport guests and employees safely to assigned locations.
  • Complete daily reports and manage on-property transport tasks.

As a Lead Driver, it is your responsibility to execute the safe and efficient transportation of both guests and employees to and from designated pickup and drop-off locations, as well as maintain a friendly and positive attitude every day, with all guests and employees. Job Specifications:

Starting Wage: 25.45/hr - 33.93/hr

Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Job Responsibilities:
  • Leading your team to accomplish daily goals
  • Adheres to all safe driving regulations and standards
  • Directs day to day work within transportation function
  • Enforces policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Addresses safety issues and notifies senior management
  • May resolve guest issues and concerns
  • Coordinates with dispatch supervisor and operations manager and other departments and outside agencies as needed
  • Thoroughly familiar with all areas of transportation and functions
  • Obey all laws of the highway and drive in a defensive manner
  • Fill out daily reports and notify the manager of any bus difficulties
  • Assist passengers to ensure they are properly seated
  • Handles passenger emergencies and disruptions
  • Safely transport small and large groups of people on and off property to various assigned locations
  • Maintain and clean buses
  • Report maintenance problems
  • Install and remove tire chains as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Valid US Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Able to lift upto 50lbs
  • Valid US Commercial Driver's License, Class A or B with air brake and passenger endorsement (obtained at own expense) -Required
  • 2 years prior experience in CDL required driving position – Required
  • Current Medical Examination Report (valid for 2 years) -Required
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Pre-employment drug test
  • Current DOT medical certificate
  • The expected pay range is 25.45/hr - 33.93/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
