Heraeus Medevio is seeking a Product Development Engineer III – Catheter Prototyping to lead hands-on catheter prototype development from concept through evaluation. You’ll translate customer needs into engineering requirements, create 3D CAD models and drawings, and collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to refine designs.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in catheter device development, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with design controls within a regulated

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; strong professional background may be considered
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience; 1 year for a graduate degree or 3 years for a doctorate
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing catheter-based medical devices or components
• Hands-on experience building, modifying, testing, and evaluating catheter prototypes
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling, production-quality 2D drawings, and engineering documentation
• Experience developing bench-level test methods and using data to guide design decisions
• Understanding of design controls and regulatory quality systems
• Ability to move between Fridley and White Bear Lake sites as needed
