Job summary

AdventHealth in New Smyrna Beach, FL, seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology specialist to support cardiovascular procedures and patient care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality interventions, including coronary, EP, peripheral, and structural heart cases.

The role requires certification and licensure, strong ECG/anatomy knowledge, and proficiency with radiology equipment and EMR/PACS.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation is required.
• Knowledge of Cardiovascular anatomy is required.
• Knowledge of Vascular anatomy is required.
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and physiology is required.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and staff is required.
• Must be able to learn Radiology software packages (EMR, PACS) and follow departmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders and communicates with physicians.
• Administers and evaluates treatments and medications.
• Maintains and operates cardiovascular equipment.
• Produces accurate medical records for procedures.
• Trains and supervises new personnel.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
• Performs diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures (coronary, EP, peripheral, structural).
• Responds to emergencies and ensures safety compliance.
