Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, FL is seeking an Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist to support cardiovascular procedures. You will verify orders, assist with interventions, and communicate with physicians while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy.
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and physiology.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and staff.
• Familiarity with radiology software (EMR, PACS) required.
• Must maintain required licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians.
• Administers and evaluates treatment and medications per policy.
• Responds to clinical emergencies within scope of practice.
• Maintains and operates equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
• Produces accurate medical records for each patient.
• Trains and supervises new personnel.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities.
• Ensures adherence to safety regulations and regulatory standards.
• Maintains medical records securely and accurately.
