AdventHealth in Florida is seeking an experienced cardiovascular technologist to join our team. You will maintain, operate, and support complex cardiovascular procedures, ensure accurate medical records, and mentor staff.

You will work in a role focused on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities for professional development through our Clinical Ladder Program and comprehensive benefits. This position is based in a hospital setting with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation.
• Knowledge of Cardiovascular anatomy and vascular anatomy.
• Knowledge of Hemodynamic Monitoring and safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and staff.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and documentation standards.
• Ability to monitor ECG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry.
• Basic EKG interpretation skills and reading of orders.
• Understanding radiation safety guidelines and protocols.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.
• Produces accurate and timely medical records for each patient.
• Trains and supervises new personnel and provides ongoing education.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and safety regulations.
• Responds to clinical emergencies and performs within scope of practice.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures as assigned.
