Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a Lead Casino Cleaning Attendant to oversee cleaning and maintenance during the night shift, ensuring high cleanliness standards across facilities.

The role offers $18.00 per hour for a 10:00 pm–6:30 am shift, with opportunities to train new hires, supervise staff, and manage inventory and payroll tasks as part of the EVS department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in EVS or cleaning preferred.
• Good communication and computer skills are essential.
• Ability to learn quickly and perform well in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all cleaning and maintenance operations and department personnel during assigned shifts.
• Supervise cleaning, maintenance follow-up, and repair of facilities and equipment.
• Contribute to and assist in employee performance reviews.
• Provide and administer new hire training.
• Maintain key control and departmental cleanliness standards.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory, and purchasing procedures as needed.

As a Lead Casino Cleaning Attendant, you will:

Pay: $18.00 per hour | Shift: 10:00 pm-6:30 am

• Supervise all cleaning and maintenance operations and department personnel during assigned shifts.
• Supervise the cleaning, follow up of maintenance, and repair of all facilities and equipment.
• Contribute and assist in the evaluation of employee performance reviews.
• Provide and administer all new hire training.
• Maintain key control.
• Be involved with the scheduling, disciplinary actions, payroll and inventory, and purchasing procedures, but not solely responsible.
• Be accountable for follow through with department walk through, special cleaning projects, and the maintaining of departmental cleanliness standards.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as cleaner in EVS or equivalent.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer applications skills.
• Good knowledge of cleaning procedures.
• Length of time in position to become proficient.
• Highly successful performance review.
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
