Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel is seeking a Lead Day Casino Cleaning Attendant to oversee EVS teams and ensure clean, safe environments across our casino and adjacent facilities. The role emphasizes training, scheduling, inspections, and effective communication with guests and staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of EVS experience, strong customer service, and English language fluency. You must be 21+, physically able to perform duties, and join a fast-paced hospitality team at our Missouri

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum one (1) year of EVS experience required.
• Verbal and written communication skills are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and be responsible for one or more EVS work crews.
• Assist in training, scheduling, and updating station assignments for team members.
• Maintain key control and attend leader shift and department meetings.
• Aid in team evaluations and performance reviews.
• Inspect and submit inspections for property lobbies, restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, food/beverage outlets, and all back of house.
• Communicate and delegate tasks and problem solve effectively with all guests, team members, and managers.
• Able to stand, move, and be physically active throughout shift; may lift up to 40 pounds.

Pay details: $18.00 per hour

As a Lead Day Casino Cleaning Attendant, you will...

• Oversee and be responsible for one or more EVS work crews
• Assist in training, scheduling, and updating station assignments for team members

• Aid in team evaluations and performance reviews
• Inspect and submit inspections for property lobbies, restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, food/beverage outlets, and all back of house
• Communicate and delegate tasks and problem solve effectively with all guests, team members, and managers
• Able to be standing during the duration of your shift. In this role, you can expect to use your hands, crouch, kneel, and be physically active throughout your shift. You will also be required to help assist with guests, aid in cleaning public areas of the casino and be okay with constantly moving. Our EVS team must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
