Job summary

The Lead Cashier ensures accurate transactions, maintains displays, and leads by example in customer service, product knowledge, and compliance with store procedures.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong guest service skills and a track record of selling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; able to engage customers effectively.
• Ability to work with others, train new cashiers, and support cross-training of staff.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store sales and loyalty goals through exemplary cashiering and guest engagement.
• Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates in cashiering tasks.
• Manage cashwrap duties, including open/close procedures, returns, and ensuring accuracy of transactions.
• Support in-store events and services to deliver an exceptional guest experience while meeting sales targets.
• Maintain clean and organized cashwrap displays and inventory to ensure guest-readiness.
