Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is seeking a Lead Player Services Cashier in Oklahoma to guide a team handling casino guests’ cash and non-cash transactions. You will ensure accurate cash handling, regulatory compliance, and smooth operations while delivering exceptional guest service.

You will assist with rewards program enrollment, promotions, and ticketing, resolve guest concerns, and support reconciliation of cage funds. Candidates should have strong math, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year cash-handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and guide team in a fast-paced guest service environment.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and explain casino games, rewards program benefits, and promotions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licensure.
• Valid driver's license and liability insurance.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Player Services Cashiers to ensure compliant, efficient operations.
• Process high-volume cash and noncash transactions, including chip issuance and redemption.
• Enroll guests in the rewards program and explain benefits.
• Verify funds at shift start/end and assist reconciliation.
• Verify and distribute jackpot and special payouts with proper documentation.
• Research transaction variances by reviewing reports and docs.
• Maintain accountability of ATMs, kiosks, funds, and inventory.
• Ensure currency documentation is provided to appropriate departments.
• Assist with promotions and guest outreach calls.
• Address guest and employee questions professionally and escalate when needed.
• Safeguard assets and confidentiality; comply with laws and policies.
• Maintain organized, professional work environment; perform other duties.
