Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring a Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions and outstanding cashwrap standards. You will train cashiers, cross‑train associates, and drive loyalty results through exceptional service, product recommendations, and smooth store operations.

The role involves leading by example, managing open/close cash functions, and delivering a high‑quality guest experience while achieving sales goals and maintaining store appearance.

Qualifications

• Proficient with basic technology (POS system and Apple devices).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to react under pressure, use good judgment in ambiguous situations, and be flexible/adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni‑channel, guest loyalty, and retail shrink.
• Greet and engage guests, personalize service, and recommend Ulta Beauty products and services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and in‑store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest readiness.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
