Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest transactions with efficiency and maintain cashwrap excellence. You will train new cashiers, ensure loyalty program engagement, and support store leadership in open/close functions. A passion for guest experience and sales performance is essential.

You will oversee replenishment and display maintenance, participate in ongoing training, and collaborate with team members to deliver consistent, high‑quality service across all channels.

Qualifications

• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to react under pressure, use good judgement in ambiguous situations and be flexible/adaptable

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales.
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting, engaging, and personalizing service for each guest.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with accuracy and courtesy.
• Lead makeup applications, skin-care analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and loyalty.
