Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring a Lead Cashier to drive guest transactions with excellence at the cashwrap and support cashier training. You will lead by example, ensuring a welcoming environment and promoting loyalty programs while meeting store goals.

You will train new cashiers, supervise cash operations, and collaborate with the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience across all store areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Experience addressing guest concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty and shrink.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting guests, personalizing assistance, and recommending Ulta Beauty products.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courteous efficiency.
• Pair guests with a specialist for makeup applications and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to enhance guest experience and sales.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest readiness.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance and teamwork across shifts.
