Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking a Lead Cashier to oversee efficient guest transactions and maintain cashwrap aesthetics. You will train new cashiers and cross-train associates while driving loyalty results and sales through exceptional service and product demonstrations.

The role requires leadership, strong guest service, and the ability to manage register functions with accuracy. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi‑task, and problem‑solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales, loyalty, and shrink.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service and personalized assistance.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy.
• Coordinate makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support in-store services and events.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures.
