Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to enhance guest transactions, train new cashiers, and cross-train associates. The role emphasizes loyalty results, credit focus, and maintaining cashwrap standards to improve sales and guest experience.

You will contribute to meeting store goals, greet guests, demonstrate products, and manage refunds and exchanges while supporting team training and store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, loyalty, and shrink.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting, engaging, and recommending Ulta Beauty products and services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy.
• Pair guests with a makeup artist to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest-readiness.
