Job summary

Ulta Beauty in the United States is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest satisfaction at the cashwrap, manage transactions, and support training of new cashiers while promoting the Loyalty Life Cycle and store goals.

The LC will uphold Ulta's standards, assist in cross-training, ensure accuracy in sales, returns, and exchanges, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on performance, attendance, and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi‑task, and problem‑solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales, loyalty, and operations.
• Greet and engage each guest, recommend Ulta Beauty products and services.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Pair guests with makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demos to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in‑store events to deliver guest experiences and drive sales.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures to ensure guest‑readiness.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
