Ulta Beauty, Inc. is hiring a Lead Cashier in a fast-paced retail environment. The role focuses on efficient guest transactions, loyalty-driven sales, and cashwrap excellence while training new cashiers and supporting the leadership team.

The successful candidate will drive guest loyalty results, engage guests with a personalized service, and ensure high standards of store appearance and cash handling. This full‑time position requires a flexible schedule and a passion for guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Proven ability to delegate, multi‑task, and problem‑solve
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store sales goals and loyalty targets
• Greet and engage guests, personalize service, and recommend Ulta Beauty products/services
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges professionally
• Pair guests with a beauty associate for makeup applications and demonstrations
• Book appointments for services and in‑store events
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures
• Maintain regular attendance and store cleanliness
• Train new cashiers and cross‑train associates in cashiering
• Support leadership with register open/close functions
• Lead by example to achieve peak productivity and performance
