Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Tacoma, WA seeks a Lead Cashier to drive loyalty results and guest experiences at the cashwrap, train new cashiers, and support store leadership. You will manage transactions, assist makeup services and events, ensure display upkeep, and uphold store standards.

This role requires strong guest service, cash handling, and POS skills. The pay range is $17.50-$26.00 per hour; full-time benefits include health, dental, vision, life and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and selling
• Experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires

Responsibilities

• Drive guest transactions efficiently and maintain cashwrap standards.
• Train new cashiers and cross-train associates in cashiering.
• Assist in loyalty program promotion and credit activities.
• Manage cash register functions and associate cashouts.
• Support in-store events and makeup services to drive sales.
• Maintain store cleanliness and cashwrap displays.
