Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a retail associate in Florida to deliver SMART customer service, assist shoppers in locating and selecting merchandise, and process transactions at the register. You will help load purchases, verify prices, and provide information on stock and warranties to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Under Lowe’s policies, you’ll train and support fellow associates, maintain store safety standards, and contribute to zone recovery and orderly merchandising.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe’s policies and programs
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Responds knowledgeably to questions and walks customers through projects when necessary
• Communicates stock, feature benefits, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds
• Verifies receipts and loads tickets; assists in loading and securing merchandise
