Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking an associate in Bloomington, CA to provide exceptional customer service, locate merchandise, demonstrate products, and assist customers with loading and checkout.

You will answer questions, guide customers through projects, and support the sales team with knowledge of stock, warranties, and promotions. The role emphasizes cash handling, register operations, and adherence to Lowe's safety and loss-prevention policies, with opportunities for coaching and advancing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Listens to and responds to customer and employee questions while guiding them through projects.
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs.
• Coaches, develops, provides feedback, and trains associates in the various departmental duties or sales opportunities.
