Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Aufgaben

• Provide SMART customer service by following Lowe's policies and programs.
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise.
• Respond knowledgeably to questions and guide customers and employees.
• Communicate stock, special order merchandise, and warranty information to customers.
• Coach and train associates on departmental duties and sales opportunities.
• Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds at the register.
• Handle cash and provide correct change.
• Assist with loading and bagging merchandise and removing security tags.
• Support checkout efficiency and coverage during busy times.
• Prepare register area at start/end of shift and verify equipment.
• Inspect returned merchandise for damages.
• Enter and submit customer orders and verify receipts.
• Look up product information and price match if needed.
• Record items used in the store on use lists and reconcile cash.
• Monitor cash in drawer and cash recycler levels.
• Monitor store entrances for security and assist customers.
• Identify security risks and inform management.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
• Operate store equipment as needed.
