Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Listens to and responds to customer and employee questions and guides them through projects
• Communicates information regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, and warranty information
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds according to company guidelines
• Looks up product information and competitor prices to verify price match
• Records all items used in the store on the store use lists
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment and housekeeping standards
